For the last 3 years we have been focussed on coding languages. A tiny community we may be, but most of our communication happens via IRC.

Originally, I intended to have the site simply for IRC related coding, however, this is a very small sector so I decided to focus on common coding languages, whether IRC related or not.

Now, as time goes on, another change is due I think. It's time to focus on all things geek. This is in order to attract more people to the site, and create a more intertwined community.

Some of you may have been experiencing permission errors while trying to create forum content (Thanks for bringing to my attention Daemonseed).

This should now be fixed. As always, any issues, let me know!

Another day, another update.

The static pages are now all up. I am aware of the issue with the use of mibbit and IrCQNet, this will be dealt with while I find a suitable java/flash alternative.

All members were sent an email to reactivate their accounts, as passwords were lost while users were being transferred. This is also a good way to determine who still has correct contact information with us after over 2 years of inactivity for some!

Time for an update as to what's been happening over the past few days:

* Forums up and running
* Users all moved over from SMF to drupal (You may have to use the reset password link)
* IRC Chat page up (using mibbit - I'm not a fan, but will be looking into alternatives meanwhile)
* About page is up

Now that the hardest bit is done, I will continue moving over the old static pages onto here. Expect another update soon.
